GLIOBLASTOMA MULTIFORME MULTICENTRIC Letter Testimonial from the Family Page 1a
July 19 2003
I am very eager to share with you and all who are interested our remarkable experience with your product, GC10-100. The therapeutic effects of this organic product has provided my husband, Joseph Formento, 48, stabilization of an extremely aggressive form of brain cancer: multicentric glioblastoma multiforme.
Dr. Peter LeRoux of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia performed both of Joseph’s craniotomies. The first was June 19, 2002. After a successful resection, 30 days of conformal radiation was to follow, but was postponed due to an infection by MRSA which required another surgery on July 23, 2002 to remove the bone flap and treat with four weeks of IV antibiotics. From August 19 to September 30, 2002 Joseph received conformal radiation which was not tolerated well. Additionally, we found that throughout the entire treatment the tumor was growing! Rapidly. Thus requiring another resection on November 11, 2002 and placement of a GLIASITE for 6 days to eradicate the residual tumor left deep within his motor area.
The next treatment offered was Temodar, a chemotherapeutic agent commonly used for brain tumors. Since he no longer qualified for most clinical trials due to his neurological deficits, we felt we did not have many options, nor time to waste. In a span of five months my husband endured four surgeries---two resections, one bone flap removal, one GLIASITE removal and radiation. In addition to hemiplegia, he was very weak, had taste alterations which made him intolerant of any foods/liquids, and loose bowels. Add to this the especially poor prognosis (3 months) for those which radiation has no effect. I was extremely reluctant to have him go through more discomfort for a small chance that chemotherapy would be effective. He, of course wasn’t reluctant and still wanted desperately to live, though another surgery, he decided, was out the question. He was to start Temodar in December.
Fortunately, your telephone call and consequent supply of GC-10 gave us hope---another option that not only proved to be effective and without side-effects, but gave him back, within one week, his taste buds (which increased his appetite), formed stools and a considerable increase in energy! Joseph started on this extract on December 21, 2002. He was started on two teaspoonfuls a day which was gradually increased to five teaspoons/day over two weeks. After four weeks, the daily dosage increased to six. On January 16, 2003, Joseph’s neurosurgeon read his MRI and was pleased that there was a decrease in tumor size. It was then that we informed him of Joseph’s dietary intervention---he had thought that Joseph started the Temodar as planned.
On February 27, 2003, GC-84 was started at six teaspoons/day. This new dose was decided upon blood serum samples sent to Dr. Grinstein and examined by Food Biochemistry Research in England. On March 4, Joseph’s next MRI also showed NO GROWTH! This is truly remarkable since the tumor grew from 2.4 X 1.0 on October 16th to 5.0 X 4.1 X 3.2 by October 29---12 days! It grew through thirty days of radiation! Dr. LeRoux said, “keep doing whatever your doing.” He’s also very interested in reviewing your literature. Presently, Joseph is taking GC-100 (5 tsp./day) which was started on April 1. This was decided upon examination of another blood serum sample, the severity of his disease and the availability of GC-100 to be made on a large scale for the first time.
He is finally finding joy in life again---going out to his son’s ball games, going out to dinner., staying awake longer. He has experienced no ill effects from this therapy. No growth, no side-effects--in four months your extract has done what conventional medicine could not.
On May 2, Joseph's third MRI was done. Dr. LeRoux's interpretation of the most recent MRI] and the previous MRI showed NO GROWTH! We were so relieved. Our anxiety was very high waiting for his interpretation. He walked in the room, clipped the two most recent MRI's under the light to show us the comparison, stating, "this looks very promising!" We all were ecstatic. Dr. LeRoux's support of our efforts is very important to us and will help stimulate interest in continued research and a clinical trial. He is in favor of Joseph continuing your therapy with GC 10-100 and will write a letter stating his support and observations: his clinical evaluation of Joseph's present and improved health status and his professional interpretation of the MRI's since Joseph's last surgery in November 2002.
