Although she has lost her vision, there have been incidents where she appeared to see. For example, on more than one occasion, someone would smile at her and she would “respond” with a return smile.
We regret we didn’t know about this treatment earlier and could only start it after her condition had become so critical.
On the 22nd of September 2003, another MRI was done, and we expected this would have to show some form of deterioration in her condition. Since May 2003, over and over again, we had been told by the doctors that my wife had only a few weeks to live. However, the MRI done on the 22nd of September 2003, at St Mary Mercy Hospital, Livonia, MI, showed further stable disease. The radiologist’s report indicated “This mass, which is in the temporal lobe, does not appear to have changed compared to the prior examination from the 5th of August 2003.”
Thanks to the help, support and advice we have received from Dr. Grinstein, my wife has received a new hope to live. With sincere gratitude Nicholas Meyers
